Turkish Airlines Launches Sustainable Brand “Tomorrow On-Board” for World Environment Day

In celebration of World Environment Day, Turkish Airlines unveiled its new sustainable development brand, “Tomorrow On-Board,” at Istanbul Airport.

The launch event showcased the airline’s eco-friendly onboard products and services, along with an exhibition featuring items made from recycled aircraft parts.

The “Tomorrow On-Board” brand reflects the future goals of Turkish Airlines, emphasizing the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

“This initiative embodies our dedication to reducing our environmental impact to leave a better world for future generations,” said Levent Konukcu, Chief Investment and Strategy Officer at Turkish Airlines. “We emphasize our commitment to providing transparent information and data, ensuring that our sustainability efforts are always clear and easily accessible to all stakeholders.”

To mark the launch of the new brand, an exhibition titled “41.2607° N and 28.7424° E” was opened at Istanbul Airport. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, and installations by four different artists, all created using recycled materials from decommissioned aircraft, flight crew uniforms and bags, cabin carpets, and seat fabrics.

The exhibition will be open for two weeks.
