KLM to Operate Delta’s Nonstop Route Between Portland and Amsterdam

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin operating Delta Air Lines’ existing nonstop route between Portland and Amsterdam. Delta, which has been flying this route for 15 years, is a partner in the trans-Atlantic joint venture with KLM.

Flight Schedule

Starting from October 27, KLM will operate three weekly flights on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday between Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) and Portland International Airport (PDX) during the winter season. In the summer of 2025, KLM will increase the frequency to five weekly flights, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The flights will be serviced by the Boeing 787-9, offering 30 seats in World Business Class, 21 seats in Premium Comfort Class, and 224 seats in Economy Class.

Winter Schedule:

  • KL615 departs from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) at 10:25 a.m. and arrives at Portland International Airport (PDX) at 11:25 a.m. local time.
  • KL616 departs from Portland International Airport (PDX) at 1:25 p.m. local time and arrives at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) the next day at 7:50 a.m. local time.

Summer Schedule (2025):

  • KL615 departs from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) at 10:40 a.m. and arrives at Portland International Airport (PDX) at 11:30 a.m. local time.
  • KL616 departs from Portland International Airport (PDX) at 1:30 p.m. local time and arrives at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) the next day at 7:55 a.m. local time.
