Airbus unveils First Class Master Suite concept for A350-1000, introducing a new level of luxury air travel that redefines what it means to fly first class. The new 1-1-1 suite layout, complete with a double bed, private bar, and dedicated amenities, offers an experience more akin to a high-end hotel than a traditional airline cabin.
Revealed during this year’s Aircraft Interiors Expo, the Airbus “First Class Experience” is being showcased in stunning 3D Augmented Reality (AR), allowing visitors to step inside the concept and explore its futuristic comfort firsthand. Designed entirely by Airbus’ in-house team, the First Class Master Suite is located at the center of the aircraft between the two aisles—an exclusive position that maximizes both space and privacy.
Each suite offers room for two passengers and includes access to a private lavatory, changing room, and a dedicated bar. A standout feature is the full double bed, providing unmatched comfort for long-haul flights. To allow this layout, Airbus redesigned the cabin space between Doors 1 and Doors 2 of the A350-1000, optimizing the floorplan to remove obstacles like lavatories and stowage areas from the main cabin.
Instead, these elements were moved into a newly developed Centre Module just behind Doors 1 and opposite the cockpit, freeing up more room for passengers while also enhancing their privacy. Even the access stairs to the Forward Crew Rest Compartment have been moved to this new area, minimizing crew traffic near the suites.
The A350-1000’s naturally large cabin dimensions and high ceilings enhance the sense of openness. The First Class section is further elevated by new fascia elements, sculpted ceiling panels, and an integrated welcome lighting panel at the aircraft entrance, creating an atmosphere of calm sophistication from the moment passengers step on board.
With the unveiling of this concept, Airbus is setting the tone for the future of first-class travel. The A350-1000’s design flexibility allows airlines to bring bespoke luxury to their most premium customers without compromising cabin efficiency or passenger comfort in other sections.
By turning the front of the aircraft into an exclusive retreat in the sky, Airbus is proving that the next era of aviation luxury is already taking shape.
