Discovery Princess to Sail on an Exclusive Voyage from Singapore

Princess Cruises has announced a special six-day sailing on Discovery Princess in October 2025 out of Singapore. The ship will make her maiden call to Singapore on October 28 and set sail to the Malaysian ports of Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Penang, and Langkawi before returning to Singapore on November 2. She will also be making maiden calls to the three Malaysian destinations.

This will be her only voyage in Southeast Asia before the ship sails on to Australia to start her homeporting season in Sydney which will begin in November 2025 to April 2026, sailing around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Discovery Princess will be Princess Cruises’ newest ship to visit Singapore and Southeast Asia. Discovery Princess sailed on her inaugural voyage in March 2022 from Los Angeles and can accommodate up to 3,660 guests and over 1,300 crew. It has over 1,800 staterooms including over 1,400 with balconies, spread over 19 decks.

The special 6-day roundtrip Singapore sailing will give cruisers in the region an opportunity to experience Princess Cruises’ exceptional dining, entertainment and wellness experiences.

For the first time in this region, guests will be able to enjoy the Princess 360 Experience which is only offered on Discovery Princess and one other Princess ship which is Enchanted Princess. This seven-course event pairs destination-evoking dishes, wine and champagne with a unique multi-sensory, multi-media experience.

It blends destination-inspired storytelling, world-class cuisine, aromatic wines and champagnes, and captivating visual entertainment—complete with delightful surprises along the way—for an unforgettable adventure unlike any other on land or at sea.    The menu is not available for public view to maintain a “surprise and delight” experience.

Guests can also enjoy 270-degree sweeping views from Princess’ largest balconies at sea in the Sky Suites, unwind in ultimate comfort at The Sanctuary and indulge in world-class dining options. Princess live entertainment presents mesmerising new Broadway-style production shows that can only be seen in the state-of-the-art Princess Theater.

Diamond Princess will commence her homeporting season in Singapore on Dec 6, 2025 till February 2026 sailing around Southeast Asia. Diamond Princess will visit destinations in Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Halong Bay and Da Nang. Malaysian ports such as Langkawi, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur will also be visited as well as Phuket. Ko Samui and Bangkok. One sailing will also include Cambodia where guests can visit Angkor Wat.

Diamond Princess will then offer an extended Japan season from February to November 2026, with 50 sailings across a variety of itineraries.
