ZONT Hotel Group has reported a 21.6% increase in revenue compared to 2023, exceeding 5 billion rubles. The company attributes this growth to the continued expansion of domestic tourism and improvements in service quality and internal management processes, leading to a 41.5% rise in RevPAR across all hotels in the group.
Operational Performance Highlights
According to operational data, the average occupancy rate across all hotels in 2024 reached 76.3%. The four-star segment was the most in-demand, achieving an occupancy rate of 79.3%. Additionally, RevPAR in this category increased by 55.7%, reaching 5,532 rubles per room.
The five-star hotels within the group also saw significant growth, with RevPAR rising 41.9% and the average room rate increasing by 11.8%. Despite minor fluctuations in booking channels (within 2%), direct bookings remained the preferred choice, accounting for 43.8% of total reservations.
Growth in the Moscow Region
Hotels across all segments in the Moscow region showed strong performance:
- The ADR of three-star hotels increased by 17.6% compared to 2023, reaching 5,116 rubles.
- Four-star hotels demonstrated even stronger growth, with a 30.5% increase in ADR, reaching 6,120 rubles.
Rising Demand from International Tourists
The number of international visitors has notably increased, especially in Moscow. Key growth figures include:
- Chinese tourists: +67.1%
- Indian tourists: +16%
- Saudi Arabian tourists: +14.7%
Expansion Plans for 2025
Nikolai Filatov, CEO and co-owner of ZONT Hotel Group, commented on the company’s future plans:
“We are seeing growing interest from international tourists in Russia, with Moscow remaining one of the most attractive destinations. Domestic tourism also continues to thrive, with travelers seeking high-quality service and a wide range of amenities. In 2025, we will expand our portfolio in the five-star segment. By the start of the summer season, we will open the first phase of the Marine Garden Sochi Hotels & SPA 5 complex in Khosta. Additionally, in the second half of the year, ahead of the business season, we will launch a premium city hotel in central Moscow under our new Russian brand, ENZO.”*
