Antalya Airport, one of the most popular international hubs for Russian tourists, is undergoing a major expansion and modernization. Announced at the TÜRSAB congress in Turkey, the airport’s international terminal space will more than double, with significant improvements for Fast Track, CIP Terminal, and premium lounge services.
Massive Expansion for Antalya Airport
The new and improved terminal buildings, managed by Fraport-TAV, are set to open on April 11, 2025. The key upgrades include:
- Total terminal area increases by 72%, from 191,000 m² to 330,000 m².
- International Terminal 2 expands by 140%, from 93,000 m² to 223,000 m².
- Domestic Terminal 1 doubles in size, from 37,000 m² to 75,000 m².
- Annual passenger capacity jumps from 35 million to 82 million.
- Aircraft parking spots increase from 108 to 176.
- Runway and taxiway modernization covering 167,000 m².
- A new 6,000 m² government-run airport hotel.
- Renovation and expansion of VIP and CIP terminals.
For travelers, the most noticeable change will be the increase in space and comfort, reducing congestion even during peak travel seasons.
Elite Lounge in Antalya Airport: Enhanced Business Lounge Experience
From April 11, the Fast Track + CIP Lounge service will be rebranded as Elite Lounge, offering a more spacious and exclusive experience.
Services Included in Elite Lounge:
✅ Fast Track passport control (dedicated lanes).
✅ Personalized baggage assistance for arriving passengers.
✅ Expedited baggage check-in at a private counter.
✅ Business lounge access with free food, drinks, and Wi-Fi.
New Features in Elite Lounge:
✅ Double the lounge space to reduce crowding.
✅ Children’s playroom (free).
✅ Bar with unlimited local beer and wine (imported drinks for an extra charge).
✅ A’la carte restaurant (extra charge).
✅ Entertainment zone with billiards and gaming consoles.
Price Changes:
Elite Lounge departure service will cost about 30% more, but with expanded lounge features.
Elite Lounge arrival service will be cheaper, with free entry for children under 6 and a 40% discount for kids aged 6–10.
Premium Lounge: A New High-End Experience
Previously, the Premium CIP Terminal operated from a separate building, 1 km from the main airport. Starting April 11, this will be replaced with a new Premium Lounge inside Terminal 2.
New Premium Lounge Features:

✅ Personalized meet-and-greet service at the aircraft gate.
✅ Luxury business lounge inside the terminal.
Additional perks in Premium Lounge:
✅ A’la carte restaurant (free).

✅ Mobile charging stations (free).
Pricing Changes:
The Premium Lounge service will now be nearly twice as expensive.
Children under 2 enter for free, while kids aged 2–6 get a 50% discount.
