Donatella Boutique Hotel will open in May 2025 and bring a new level of luxury and style to Miami Beach. Located at 1350 Collins Avenue in the city’s historic Art Deco district, the property offers a boutique escape that blends South Beach glamour with European elegance.
Sister to the legendary Versace Mansion—now known as The Villa Casa Casuarina—Donatella Boutique Hotel channels a similar timeless allure, with six uniquely designed rooms and a signature restaurant inspired by Southern Italian coastal cuisine. The project is a collaboration between the Nakash Group, the team behind The Setai and the Versace Mansion, and South Florida’s Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group.
Originally designed in 1922 by Wallace Tutt—the same architect behind the Versace Mansion—the building has been thoughtfully restored. Now, a century later, it stands ready to welcome a new generation of travelers with a blend of history, sophistication, and personalized hospitality.
Each of the hotel’s six rooms is individually styled by Mico Design Studio with a Mediterranean aesthetic, featuring natural stone, warm wood, gold accents, and curated art that connects guests to Miami’s vibrant cultural scene. From stone headboards to locally crafted décor, every detail has been selected to enhance both comfort and character.
The culinary centerpiece of the property is Donatella Restaurant, led by Executive Chef Alessandro Morrone. Originally from Naples, Chef Morrone brings a deeply personal touch to the menu, drawing on family recipes and traditional techniques. Guests can expect a fresh and seasonal approach to classic dishes such as Rigatoni Nduja, Black Truffle Cacio e Pepe, and Skull Island Prawns. The restaurant will seat 170 guests, including a private dining room for 15, and aims to be as much a destination for locals as it is for hotel guests.
Beyond fine dining and elegant accommodations, Donatella Boutique Hotel offers a range of personalized services, including dedicated concierge and butler service for each room. Guests can enjoy wellness treatments such as massages and facials at a nearby partner spa, as well as full access to a modern fitness center. For those seeking relaxation under the sun, the hotel provides exclusive beach access complete with daybeds, jet ski rentals, and premium service on the sand. A private pool experience is also available through a partner location, adding another layer of luxury.
