Air Serbia will officially launch direct flights between Belgrade and Tbilisi, Georgia, on June 15, 2025, with three weekly flights aimed at strengthening connectivity between Serbia and the Caucasus. The new service is expected to cater to both the large Georgian diaspora and travelers interested in experiencing the unique fusion of tradition and modernity that Tbilisi offers.
The national carrier of Serbia will operate the Belgrade to Tbilisi route on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with return flights from Tbilisi on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights are already available for booking on Air Serbia’s official website, mobile app, and at its retail shops.
Boško Rupić, General Manager of Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia, emphasized the importance of this new route. “By introducing the service between Belgrade and Tbilisi, we are opening the door to a city where ancient tradition and modern spirit uniquely come together and directly connecting Serbia with the Caucasus region. Georgia has a large diaspora, so we expect that our network of destinations will make it easier for them to travel from Tbilisi, via Belgrade, to America, Western Europe, and the Western Balkans.
