American Express and Singapore Airlines have announced significant enhancements to the American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card, introducing new rewards and expanded redemption options tailored for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). These updates, set to take effect from April 23, 2025, aim to provide greater value for frequent business travelers.
Key Enhancements:
Increased HighFlyer Points Conversion: The annual cap for converting HighFlyer points to KrisFlyer miles has been raised from 100,000 to 150,000 miles at a 1:1 conversion rate.
Discounted KrisFlyer Elite Gold Status: Businesses can now redeem 100,000 HighFlyer points for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status, reduced from the standard 125,000 points.
Welcome Bonus: New businesses joining the HighFlyer programme receive 10,000 HighFlyer points after completing their first flight booked via the Singapore Airlines HighFlyer portal.
Accelerated Elite Gold Upgrade: A corporate traveler can qualify for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status by spending S$15,000 on eligible Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights in the first year.
Annual Renewal Bonus: Cardholders who renew their membership receive 6,000 HighFlyer points.
Higher Earn Rates: Up to 8 HighFlyer points per S$1 spent on Singapore Airlines or Scoot flights, with various point tiers for eligible spending.
