Hawaiian Airlines to Open New Lounge at HNL in 2027

Hawaiian Airlines has unveiled plans for a new premium lounge at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), set to open in 2027. The upgraded space will be five times larger than the airline’s current lounge, offering passengers a more spacious and modern retreat before their flights.

The new lounge will be located at the entrance of the Mauka Concourse in Terminal 1, providing enhanced comfort and upgraded amenities for travelers. Designed with sculptural elements and bold pops of color, the space aims to blend Hawaiian culture with contemporary elegance.

Todd Traynor-Corey, vice president of guest products and experience at Hawaiian Airlines, described the project as a reimagining of the travel experience, designed to elevate guest satisfaction while showcasing the airline’s commitment to Hawaiian hospitality.

“Our new Honolulu lounge will be the first of its kind within this space and will offer a modern oasis for our guests to enjoy,” Traynor-Corey said.

The expansion aligns with Hawaiian Airlines’ efforts to enhance the premium travel experience, ensuring that guests flying through Honolulu International Airport have access to a comfortable and stylish pre-flight environment.

With this ambitious upgrade, Hawaiian Airlines is set to redefine luxury and relaxation at HNL, giving travelers a new standard of comfort in the heart of the Pacific.
