For travelers looking for a new way to move between Russia and Turkey, a fresh option is now available. Turkish transport company Luks Yilmaz has announced the launch of a direct bus route between Rostov-on-Don and Alanya, offering a long but scenic journey through three countries.
The Route and Travel Experience
Departing from Rostov-on-Don every Saturday at 10:00 AM, the bus will travel through Krasnodar, Vladikavkaz, Batumi, Trabzon, Samsun, Ankara, and Mersin, before finally reaching Alanya. The return trip from Turkey is scheduled for Tuesdays.
With a total travel time of almost two days, the company is ensuring passenger comfort along the way. The bus will stop every 3–4 hours for breaks, and onboard amenities include free Wi-Fi and complimentary beverages like tea, coffee, and water.
Ticket Price and Entry Requirements
A one-way ticket costs approximately 10,000 rubles (about $110), including baggage up to 35 kg and hand luggage. Given the increasing travel demand between Russia and Turkey, this option may attract those looking for a more affordable alternative to flights.
For Russian citizens, entry into Turkey is visa-free, but a valid international passport is required. Similarly, the journey through Georgia does not require a visa for Russian travelers.
A Convenient Alternative
Luks Yilmaz new bus route could become a preferred choice for those who want to explore Turkey at a lower cost or simply enjoy the adventure of traveling across multiple regions by land. With comfortable seating, frequent stops, and scenic views, the long trip transforms into an experience rather than just transportation.
