Flights to the Middle East Are Back—Which Airlines Have Returned?

Following the January ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, global airlines have resumed flights to the Middle East, ending months-long suspensions caused by security concerns. The return of air travel marks a step toward normalcy in the region, as carriers reintroduce routes to key destinations like Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Amman.

Airlines That Have Resumed Flights

  • Air France & Transavia France – Flights between Paris and Tel Aviv restarted on January 25, while Paris-Beirut service resumed shortly after.
  • Air India – The airline will resume flights to Tel Aviv from March 2, following its suspension in late September.
  • Delta Air Lines – The U.S. carrier will restart its New York-Tel Aviv route on April 1.
  • Emirates – Flights to Beirut and Baghdad resumed on February 1, with an additional Beirut flight launching April 1.
  • ITA Airways – The Italian airline reinstated its Rome-Tel Aviv route on February 1 with daily service.
  • Lufthansa Group – The German airline group resumed Tel Aviv flights on February 1.
  • United Airlines – Flights between New York and Tel Aviv return on March 15, with a second daily flight starting March 29.
  • Wizz Air – The budget airline restarted flights to Tel Aviv and Amman on January 16.
  • Air Baltic – The Latvian carrier plans to resume Tel Aviv flights in April.
  • EasyJet – The UK budget airline will restart its Tel Aviv service on June 1.
  • Ryanair – Europe’s largest low-cost airline is set to operate a full summer schedule to Tel Aviv.
