Domodedovo Airport has opened dedicated smoking rooms for passengers, according to a statement from the airport.
“In the international segment of the passenger terminal (T2), special smoking rooms equipped with ventilation and air filtration systems, ashtrays, urns, and flight information boards are available to passengers free of charge,” the airport’s Telegram channel said.
The smoking areas are located in Gallery E of international departures near Gates 5 and 8.
In addition, the airport has designated a smoking area in the business lounge, located on the 2nd floor in Gallery D of domestic airlines. Electronic cigarettes can also be used in a special room in the Grey Wall Smoke lounge area.
Several smoking areas have been organized on the station square near the entrances to the terminal building at a distance safe for non-smokers.
“Caring for the health and safety of passengers, guests and DME employees is an absolute priority for Domodedovo Airport. We remind you: smoking is harmful to your health,” the airport said.
